FAQs

  • The first step is to schedule a consultation, where we’ll discuss your needs, goals, and any questions you may have about therapy. You can schedule this consultation through our website or by contacting us directly via email.

  • Yes, I accept insurance for therapy services. See specific plans here. We’ll verify your coverage before your first session to ensure a smooth process.

  • Yes, I offer both in-person and virtual therapy sessions. Virtual therapy is a convenient option for those who may not be able to attend in person or prefer the flexibility of teletherapy. It’s conducted via a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform to ensure your privacy.

  • Your intake session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. We’ll review your personal history, including any stressors, past trauma, or relationship challenges you're facing. We’ll also discuss your current concerns and goals for therapy. This is a collaborative session where we begin to create a tailored plan for your therapeutic journey. You’ll also have the chance to ask any questions and get comfortable with the process.

  • Come as you are — there’s nothing specific you need to bring. However, keeping a journal specifically for therapy can be helpful. Jot down thoughts, feelings, or questions that come up during the week. This can help you track patterns, reflect on progress, and guide our sessions.

  • Most clients meet weekly or bi-weekly, depending on their needs and goals. During our consultation or first session, we’ll decide together what schedule works best for you.
